Effective careers planning means exploring your options early. Our careers team are here to help. Whatever your age, course of study, plans or aspirations, the Careers Service is available to you. Professionally qualified careers advisers are available for consultation on career choice, further study options, presentation and other work place skills, jobsearch, applications/interview procedures and aptitude tests.
The Career Guidance Office contains a wide range of information on careers and further study options. Comprehensive information, internet access, computerised guidance programmes, video library etc., are all available to our students.

CSN course applications
Students interested in applying for CSN/Tramore Road Campus courses should apply through the College website, www.csn.ie. Please contact the Careers Office for any advice and assistance.
CAO
The CAO Late Application facility closes on May 1st at 5pm. This is your last opportunity to apply for 2023 entry to third level places through the CAO. You cannot apply for restricted courses or for mature student places.
The free online CAO ‘change of mind’ facility opens on May 5th and operates until July 1st.
Susi grants 2023-2024
The Susi grant application system is now open for all applicants. Apply as soon as possible through the Susi online application form, https://susi.ie. If you have a Susi grant this year you need to reapply for next year.

MTU Cork Colleges Progression Scheme
The Cork Colleges Progression Scheme closing date is May 1st. Complete the application form online, https://www.cit.ie/prospectivestudents/ccps. You will need both your PPS and CAO numbers to complete the short form. Contact Careers if you need help or more information.
MTU Math's course
MTU run a short Math's course in late May/early June for QQI (Quality and Qualifications Ireland) students who do not have the Math's entry requirements for their Business and Humanities courses.
