Upcoming Career Events
CAO Applications
For students applying for University and Institute of
Technology courses application packs are now available from
the Career’s Office.
The deadline for applying is February 1st. A discounted
application fee of 30 euro is paid if you apply online by
January 20th.
Mature applicants (aged 23 or more on January 1st, 2012) and
those applying for restricted courses must apply by this date.
More details are available and online applications can be made
through www.cao.ie.
For students completing FETAC level 5 or 6 courses it is vitally
important that you insert your PPS number in the examination
details section of the CAO form. Otherwise, the CAO and
Higher Education institutions will not take account of your
FETAC results when assessing your application.
Students applying for Arts faculty courses in UCC must also
register for the MSAP test. For more details and to register
for the MSAP please go to www.msap.acer.edu.au.
In 2012 the MSAP test will be held on February 18th.
Students applying for first year entrance to CIT through the
Cork Colleges Progression Scheme must apply to CAO by
February 1st.

- The deadline for applying for UK College route A courses is January 15th. If you are intending to apply you are advised to immediately contact the Careers Office.
